After 3 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Comăneci. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Eugen Cipău got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Golden Boys booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Comăneci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goalkeeper Iacob Dominte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djvebe Levidze. After 25 minutes of play, Golden Boys's Bebur Bitsadze made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Dominte was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Bebur Bitsadze came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Golden Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebur Bitsadze couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Gelu Belu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taka Londaridze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Valer Grozuță put in a rough tackle. In the 32nd match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Grozuță to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Djvebe Levidze came free, but Iacob Dominte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelu Belu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bebur Bitsadze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Iacob Dominte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teimuraz Neparidze in the 38th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Iacob Dominte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bebur Bitsadze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Iacob Dominte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Merab Magalov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Boys and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Merab Magalov hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's Radu Zamfira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bebur Bitsadze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real Madrid's Iacob Dominte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebur Bitsadze in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Golden Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merab Magalov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taka Londaridze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Zamfira, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Golden Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Cosmin Spiridon scored to the left of an out of position Taka Londaridze, making the score, 3-2. 61 minutes into the match, Bebur Bitsadze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Dominte. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bebur Bitsadze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Eugen Cipău's late challenge caught a Golden Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Cipău helped the player get up and apologised. If Teimuraz Neparidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taka Londaridze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Belu in the 69th minute of play. Taka Londaridze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Mocanu in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Gelu Belu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Belu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bebur Bitsadze might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Dominte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bebur Bitsadze ran back to his position shaking his head. Iacob Dominte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teimuraz Neparidze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 82 minutes, Cosmin Spiridon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosmin Spiridon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Bebur Bitsadze sped through Real Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iacob Dominte. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Bebur Bitsadze put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Iacob Dominte. Djvebe Levidze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Dominte having to interfere. When Djvebe Levidze came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Golden Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djvebe Levidze couldn't finish the play. Bebur Bitsadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Golden Boys fully deserved thier win.
