After 18 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan İğdemir. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute Waldemar Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attentive Betinho de Queirós managed to snatch the ball when Yavuz Selimhan İğdemir made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Ismael Furman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Lu Zhen Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darío Benedetto in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selimhan İğdemir to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Cardozo scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Furman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Zachariasz Psotka. When DREAM TEAM WORLD's Waldemar Cardozo in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Betinho de Queirós hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Raul Vigil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Darío Benedetto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Cristi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Cristi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. DREAM TEAM WORLD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Cristi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Equipo made a substitution. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Elpidio Curcio was substituted for Jonathan Otto. 69 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Equipo defense, Koča Kafarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Furman. The Equipo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Furman should have stopped the shot. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Castro from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Ismael Furman's attention. Equipo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DREAM TEAM WORLD for a fine match.
