The corner led Equipo's Raul Vigil to fire away a dangerous shot which Pete Luna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute, Darkness's Ole-Gunnar Klose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ismael Furman. Ismael Furman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pietro Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Luna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Darkness booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Gaston Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pietro Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Luna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pietro Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Adolfo Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darkness's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Jacindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pietro Salles fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Equipo's protests and gave Pietro Salles a yellow card for diving instead. Pietro Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Equipo's Ronaldo Cristi was substituted for Pietro Salles. Equipo's Darío Benedetto was substituted for Anier Omero. In the 54th minute of the match, Ronaldo Cristi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pete Luna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Darío Benedetto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pete Luna made a huge save. Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Cristi in the 59th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darío Benedetto. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Cristi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Cristi in the 67th minute of the match. Darío Benedetto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Pete Luna made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Aldebaran Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aldebaran Tauro hit a great ball. When Raul Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Equipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Vigil couldn't finish the play. Darkness's Pete Luna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Darkness from getting a goal against them. Pete Luna made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Darío Benedetto sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldo Cristi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Pete Luna 80 minutes into the match. If Darío Benedetto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Jhon Stones. 92 minutes into the match, Raul Vigil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pete Luna. Darkness's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Vigil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Equipo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Darkness.
