The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexandros Ismael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Koča Kafarov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Ciolli in the 7th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 11 in the game by Koča Kafarov from a close distance when the talented Alexandros Ismael managed to make a qualified save. Águilas Poblanas's players were relieved. After some careless play in the DREAM TEAM WORLD defense, Amedeo Vitucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Zhen Sheng should have stopped the shot. Koča Kafarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandros Ismael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Amedeo Vitucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lu Zhen Sheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandros Ismael. That made the score 2-2 after 29 minutes of play. Victor Macias lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Águilas Poblanas's Aldo Marquez was substituted for Carlo Ciolli. 37 minutes into the game, one of Águilas Poblanas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alexandros Ismael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Koldo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Vitucci in the 43rd minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Beltran was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Koča Kafarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandros Ismael. Águilas Poblanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koča Kafarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 55th minute, Amedeo Vitucci made a precise shot to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. DREAM TEAM WORLD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Vitucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Cardozo in the 77th minute of play. Godofredo Harriet made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Waldemar Cardozo however managed to control. 84 minutes into the game, Waldemar Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Alexandros Ismael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Waldemar Cardozo notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael. Alexandros Ismael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariasz Psotka, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The DREAM TEAM WORLD players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
