Koča Kafarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Belkå having to make a save. Peter Belkå took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koča Kafarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Belkå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koča Kafarov in the 5th minute of the match. Monte Susanin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Susanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koča Kafarov in the 13th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Peter Belkå to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miromir Dzerwucki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lu Zhen Sheng made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Monte Susanin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. DREAM TEAM WORLD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monte Susanin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Otto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Belkå having to make a save. Lu Zhen Sheng made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when 杨宁卫 sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Monte Susanin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lu Zhen Sheng was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Koča Kafarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Belkå saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cemal Palabıyık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Old Boys's Paulino Sayvion was substituted for Monte Susanin. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Miromir Dzerwucki got a free kick in the 45th minute. Peter Belkå came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov. But to his dismay, Koča Kafarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cemal Palabıyık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Sayvion scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Koča Kafarov came free, but Peter Belkå reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Wiktor Bielatowicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Florentino Dolfo, made in the 67th minute of the game. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Zachariasz Psotka was substituted for Jonathan Otto. A sloppy throw-in by Wiktor Bielatowicz in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Old Boys's Florentino Dolfo. Peter Belkå made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Cardozo in the 84th minute. Peter Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Cardozo in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Törnblom in the 87th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Waldemar Cardozo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Belkå. Peter Belkå yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After having played for 98 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The DREAM TEAM WORLD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
