After 14 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Viviano. Severiano Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Izotz in the 15th minute of play. Iker Oskarbi's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Oskarbi helped the player get up and apologised. Iker Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match Ildefonso Formerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Nafarroa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iker Oskarbi got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Matei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Emilio Casomiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Atarratze. In the 44th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Matteo to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Cipriano Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Illan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Matei. Gaudencio Eron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Severiano Bonifaco made a huge save. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Jaime Nafarroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Gaudencio Eron made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Bonifaco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaudencio Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Bonifaco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Sebastian Edur got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gaudencio Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Ildefonso Formerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simbo FC and the La Gallardeta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Simbo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ildefonso Formerio hit a great ball. Gaudencio Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Gallardeta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
