The referee ignored Marlin FC's protests and gave Eugenio Esdras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Esdras to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Sazon to make the kick off. Cristian Cayo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Sazon in the 80th minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
