Leones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Ibon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Americo Macias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Emiliano Faro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Baldomero Ibon to make any attempt to save it. After 23 minutes, Alejo Louis made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Naboonga OFF's Baldomero Ibon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Naboonga OFF's goalkeeper Baldomero Ibon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Louis. In the 28th minute, Emiliano Faro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Naboonga OFF's Baldomero Ibon didn't even have to move. After 35 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Ferdinand. In the 38th minute, Americo Macias made a precise shot to the right of Amador Jakue. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Timoteo Cordarin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Figueroa made a kick off. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ciro Ferdinand hit a great ball. When Godfredo Ascencio fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Godfredo Ascencio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Naboonga OFF booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Figueroa came free, but Amador Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Loi to maneuver through the defense. Americo Macias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Naboonga OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Mundo came free, but Baldomero Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Jaime Mundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Ibon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Naboonga OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Faro. 73 minutes into the game, Alejo Louis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naboonga OFF the free kick. Baldomero Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Jaime Mundo put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomero Ibon. Israel Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Amador Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Macias. Blas Bortzaioriz's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Bortzaioriz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Naboonga OFF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Blas Bortzaioriz hit a great ball.
