Amador Jakue came out of the goal and Valentin Neron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Fernando Osoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Osoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Jakue having to interfere. The Los Gallos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leones FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Louis to make the kick off. Filiberto Iratzeder made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alejo Louis sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Primitivo Chago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. In the 88th minute Fernando Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Osoitz came free, but Amador Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Chago came free, but Amador Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los Gallos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leones FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Leones FC.
