Enzo Ostadar was a little too slow when Andres Jusepe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Guilabertus to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Erramun's late challenge caught a Talleres de Escalada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Erramun helped the player get up and apologised. 54 minutes into the game, Narciso Guilabertus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niceto Gutxi. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Narciso Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Guilabertus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Gaizko in the 90th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Niceto Gutxi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Niceto Gutxi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Montrelle. After 94 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Lauren.
