After 3 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Sancho. Dinu Ivănescu scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mías Khalifa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Sidorowicz in the 7th minute of the match. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Berrewouts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa got control of the ball when Dinu Ivănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Boleslaw Sidorowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mías Khalifa. Mías Khalifa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Ostrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mías Khalifa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 34th minute. Mías Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Despidida AFC's Mías Khalifa threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinu Ivănescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 39 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Sancho. After 41 played minutes Dinu Ivănescu rounded Simbo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1.

Mías Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 50th minute of play. If Boleslaw Sidorowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mías Khalifa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mías Khalifa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Tincho Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Fernando Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mías Khalifa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Simbo FC's Mías Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 90th minute of play. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Despidida AFC had won after a very even match.
