Maximiliano Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Lebas in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gabriel-Omar Batista fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★Independiente Ψ★'s protests and gave Gabriel-Omar Batista a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel-Omar Batista. After a rather tough play, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jairo Hotz got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Igor Lebas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maximiliano Iigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gabriel-Omar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierluigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 45th minute. When Gabriel-Omar Batista came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ★Independiente Ψ★ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel-Omar Batista couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. KaoS Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after ★Independiente Ψ★'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lluis Companys took the corner. Zeledon Tabb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Alejandro Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Feng Ying, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. KaoS Futbol Club's Romano Cocolina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristian Jaunti in the 73 minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Alejandro Lamberto threw the ball into play from the sideline. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gilberto Loreto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of KaoS Futbol Club booed when ★Independiente Ψ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Igor Lebas came free, but Maximiliano Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Lebas in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Iigo saved ★Independiente Ψ★ from getting behind. KaoS Futbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
