Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atilano Quinten took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Cesario came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arquímedes Cesario took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 12th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arquímedes Cesario went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Matías Patrone made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Elpidio Francis sent off a good shot on target. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Quinten in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Atilano Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Arnaldo Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Măcriș.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Francis to make the kick off. Matías Patrone came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 56th minute of play. When Arquímedes Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Los Delfines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arquímedes Cesario couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Olle Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 63rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Branislav Velchevski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lu Bin Yuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Branislav Velchevski having to make a save. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was substituted for Elpidio Francis. Los Delfines made a substitution. Oliver Bierhoff replaced Arquímedes Cesario. Los Delfines's Oran Gutti was substituted for Lu Bin Yuan. Branislav Velchevski made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Dalmu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 84th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If André Monclús had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliver Bierhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Branislav Velchevski having to make a save.
