But to his dismay, Oliver Bierhoff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Deportivo Popolizio FBC defense, Oliver Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermann Hesse. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermann Hesse should have stopped the shot. After 42 minutes of play, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermann Hesse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Basualdo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Hermann Hesse in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 64th minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez was substituted for Cris Ronaldo. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Erruki Velarroa replaced Bartolo Basualdo. In the 70th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Cáceres to maneuver through the defense. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joao Montanez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Zachary Pliszka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermann Hesse, 0-6. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Pliszka in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Joao Montanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Delfines eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
