Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jacobo Mendiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Bierhoff struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Mendiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Delfines. Héctor Mainer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Patrone having to interfere. Matías Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göktan Akıncıbey's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jan Falkiewicz made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santiago Sosa. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Mainer in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Bierhoff to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Jacobo Mendiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 58th minute of play forced ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Jacobo Mendiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Jacobo Mendiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 59th minute of play. ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Franco Milazzo was substituted for Héctor Mainer. Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka was substituted for Oliver Bierhoff. Osvaldo Sayveon got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santiago Sosa. In the 70th minute of the match, Göktan Akıncıbey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matías Patrone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. If Hector Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Pliszka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Mendiko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Zachary Pliszka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Mendiko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Göktan Akıncıbey kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Mendiko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The Los Delfines fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Los Delfines were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ for a fine match.
