Osvaldo Daunte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes RED DEVIL got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Leocadio. After a defensive mix-up in RED DEVIL's zone, Giuseppe Conway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cafer Konuralp came out of the goal and Giuseppe Conway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marshall Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ali Cafer Konuralp made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marshall Medina was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Conway came free, but Ali Cafer Konuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Daunte made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Tomás Romo sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Chad Tuttle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Cafer Konuralp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when EL LOBO DE MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chad Tuttle didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Gustavo Lyons was substituted for Virgil Caudill. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Medina in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Osvaldo Daunte got control of the ball when Tomás Romo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in RED DEVIL's zone, Giuseppe Conway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cafer Konuralp came out of the goal and Giuseppe Conway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clayton Haney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Cafer Konuralp having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RED DEVIL eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
