After 9 played minutes Brixton Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Digby. 10 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Ian Corbridge broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Darryl Delaney hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Lenny Digby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes Brixton Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Leroy Milligan. Leroy Milligan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Orson Fuller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robin Radcliffe. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the game, Ian Corbridge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Robin Radcliffe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Max Washington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Lancaster in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Leroy Milligan made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Milligan got free with Max Washington in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 played minutes Brixton Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Digby. When Brixton Celtics's Leroy Milligan in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kris Lancaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Washington having to interfere. Robin Radcliffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orson Fuller in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elizabeth Three Lions FC's zone, Kris Lancaster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Washington came out of the goal and Kris Lancaster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Milligan came free, but Max Washington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Albert Knowles got a free kick in the 87th minute. Robin Radcliffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orson Fuller, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when Brixton Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leroy Milligan didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Elizabeth Three Lions FC were the better team. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
