The crowd rose to their feet as Harlow AFC's Verne Kearney slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robin Radcliffe. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Donny Winstanley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harlow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donny Winstanley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Radcliffe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denzil Shakespeare in the 11th minute of play forced Brixton Celtics's goalkeeper Robin Radcliffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Kris Lancaster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brixton Celtics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Lancaster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Radcliffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denzil Shakespeare in the 23rd minute of the match. Kris Lancaster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brixton Celtics's Robin Radcliffe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Brixton Celtics from getting a goal against them. Robin Radcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Bowe in the 34th minute of play. Robin Radcliffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denzil Shakespeare in the 38th minute of the match. Robin Radcliffe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Verne Kearney went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 45 played minutes Brixton Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Alfie Monk. The audience was convinced that Denzil Shakespeare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Radcliffe was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Denzil Shakespeare struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Robin Radcliffe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harlow AFC. Robin Radcliffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denzil Shakespeare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Harlow AFC's Verne Kearney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Radcliffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 59 minutes, Thomas Bacon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brixton Celtics and the Harlow AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Brixton Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Bacon to maneuver through the defense. Verne Kearney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brixton Celtics's Thomas Bacon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eric Connell in the 63 minute of the game. 64 minutes into the game, Kenny Brook was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brixton Celtics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harlow AFC the free kick. In the 64th minute, Kenny Brook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Brixton Celtics defense, Denzil Shakespeare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Radcliffe. The Brixton Celtics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Radcliffe should have stopped the shot. Robin Radcliffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verne Kearney, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Alfie Monk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brixton Celtics and the Harlow AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robin Radcliffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Verne Kearney's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Ted Bowe notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Brixton Celtics's Robin Radcliffe. Robin Radcliffe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robin Radcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verne Kearney in the 88th minute of play. The Harlow AFC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Harlow AFC's Verne Kearney looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Albert Dawson's late challenge caught a Harlow AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Dawson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brixton Celtics's Albert Dawson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Harlow AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
