Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zak Walls took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bradley Braithwaite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Panther in the 3rd minute of the match. Billy Metcalf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Stubbs in the 6th minute of play. Rory Weatherhead received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bradley Braithwaite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Zak Walls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Braithwaite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Metcalf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Marsden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paddy Bastow hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Marsden in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billy Metcalf saved Barr Point from getting behind. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Oliver Marsden sped through Barr Point's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Billy Metcalf. Geoff Langdon got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Billy Metcalf handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Zak Walls kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When William Jordan fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barr Point's protests and gave William Jordan a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by William Jordan. Billy Metcalf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Marsden in the 27th minute of the match. Billy Metcalf came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Whitypool United's Geoff Langdon. But to his dismay, Geoff Langdon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Oliver Marsden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billy Metcalf was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Marsden in the 34th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Billy Metcalf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Whitypool United's Oliver Marsden in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barr Point's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Oliver Marsden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Metcalf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Gus Eslworth in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Barr Point's Sammy Faulkner. 48 minutes into the match, Joe Stubbs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Metcalf. Barr Point's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Stubbs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Marsden made a kick off. Bradley Braithwaite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rory Weatherhead in the 55th minute of play. William Jordan scored 1-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bradley Braithwaite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rory Weatherhead kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Geoff Langdons short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Billy Metcalf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th minute of the match, Oliver Marsden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Billy Metcalf saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Billy Metcalf managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Whitypool United's Geoff Langdon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 71 minutes, Phil Panther mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barr Point and the Whitypool United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Phil Panther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Zak Walls ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradley Braithwaite was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Billy Metcalf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Stubbs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Whitypool United booed when Barr Point was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Faulkner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geoff Langdon took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Metcalf. Billy Metcalf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Stubbs got free with Billy Metcalf in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Whitypool United's Geoff Langdon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6.
