Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carl Atkins kicked off to start the match. Bayhan Uzlet kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jonatan Fredericksen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Carl Atkins came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the The Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Atkins couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harri Kaine got free with Tim Johnstone in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Mayo's Gonzalo Montiel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gonzalo Montiel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mayo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gonzalo Montiel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gonzalo Montiel hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match Rio Blewitt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Timmins skillfully saved the ball. Ian Timmins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Meehan in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Tigers's zone, Bayhan Uzlet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Johnstone came out of the goal and Bayhan Uzlet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Johnstone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idacio Ballejos's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The Tigers's Tim Johnstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save The Tigers from getting a goal against them. Hayden Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ian Timmins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Moore in the 33rd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Moore came free, but Ian Timmins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayhan Uzlet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tim Johnstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Idacio Ballejos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tim Johnstone. The goal made the score 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Idacio Ballejos made the kick off in the second half. Mayo's Ian Timmins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mayo from getting a goal against them. Tyrone Meehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Mayo's Idacio Ballejos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Johnstone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tristram Winterburn hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harri Kaine to maneuver through the defense. David Medley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Ataol Bahçıvan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Mayo were awarded a corner. David Medley went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 87th minute, The Tigers's Phil Clarke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ian Timmins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Clarke, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Phil Clarke had several of the Mayo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Ian Timmins as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mayo's Ian Timmins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tris Hedges in the 95th minute of play. The Mayo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Tigers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
