Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Idacio Ballejos kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Jermaine Wroe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Timmins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when David Medley came free, but Ed Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ed Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Idacio Ballejos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ed Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's Rio Dunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Timmins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Justin Langford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, David Medley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ed Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Harri Kaine hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Lee Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Harri Kaine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Phillip Haywood got a free kick in the 46th minute. With a little luck, Mayo's Ian Timmins got control of the ball when Kyle Eglington tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Dunn to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mayo's zone, Rio Dunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Timmins came out of the goal and Rio Dunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes of play, Mayo's Harri Kaine made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ed Ingram was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ed Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Gone With the Win's Jimmy Mulford made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Timmins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ed Ingram made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justin Langford in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Harvey Featherstone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Harvey Featherstone hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Ballejos came free, but Ed Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Idacio Ballejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Ingram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Idacio Ballejos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ed Ingram. The goal made the score 2-4. The audience was convinced that Rio Dunn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Timmins was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Ian Timmins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Eglington, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Harri Kaine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Ed Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Mayo booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Mayo's David Medley broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rio Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Idacio Ballejos took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Ed Ingram to make any attempt to save it.
