Spectators: 173 (Terracing: 130, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atak Ferdi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabien Barthez was a little too slow when Atak Ferdi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 9 played minutes FC LIVERPOOL got a freekick which was hit by Casper Ottens. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Rowell, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tommy Thompson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Des Wicks, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atak Ferdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Fingers hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ashley Wiseman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 27th minute of play forced FC LIVERPOOL's goalkeeper Tommy Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Delamore in the 29th minute of play. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Rowell in the 31st minute of play. Matthew Brookman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Thompson having to interfere. In the 47th minute Dan Rowell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jasper Delamore to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jasper Delamore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Thompson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atak Ferdi in the 54th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Egg Chasers FC's Tommy Thompson threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jasper Delamore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 58 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Groom. FC LIVERPOOL made a substitution. Vlastimir Jovanović replaced Ashley Wiseman. In the 60th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Groom to maneuver through the defense. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atak Ferdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alex Barone hit a great ball. Dan Rowell took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Tommy Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Delamore in the 72nd minute of play. Fabien Barthez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atak Ferdi's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Egg Chasers FC were furious when Jonny Wilkinson was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 76 minutes into the game, one of Egg Chasers FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fabien Barthez had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Dan Rowell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fabien Barthez came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by FC LIVERPOOL's Dan Rowell. But to his dismay, Dan Rowell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Atak Ferdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 86 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Groom. Joel Groom might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Thompson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Groom ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Jamal Higgins notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC LIVERPOOL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Egg Chasers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
