But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atak Ferdi couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Atak Ferdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Gray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The White Eagles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Gray should have stopped the shot. When FC LIVERPOOL's Dan Rowell, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC LIVERPOOL. Robert Gray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atak Ferdi in the 34th minute of the match. Atak Ferdi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Gray. Robert Gray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, White Eagles FC's Dale Potterton got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 44 minutes of play, FC LIVERPOOL's Atak Ferdi made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Gray was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Robert Gray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Rowell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Cash hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Atak Ferdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Robert Gray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The White Eagles FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC LIVERPOOL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
