Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Garlic Eaters's Gez Barber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivan Stone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gez Barber in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes, Ronny Hurren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garlic Eaters and the T H F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Hurren to maneuver through the defense. Gez Barber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Stone having to make a save. Gul Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Crossley, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 18th play minutes Roger Crossley shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Gul Keep and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gez Barber in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Stone saved T H F C from getting behind. Gul Keep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Crossley in the 26th minute of play. Gul Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dion Kerridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Dion Kerridge came free, but Gul Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Hurren kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when T H F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Davenport didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garlic Eaters's James Tuck pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Reuben Howarth charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reuben Howarth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Reuben Howarth got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 45 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Roger Crossley. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when T H F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Crossley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 51 minutes of play, Garlic Eaters's Luke Lovell made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Stone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gez Barber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Stone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Gez Barber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Stone having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Shane Barratt got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matty Tinker got free with Gul Keep in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Luke Lovell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garlic Eaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Luke Lovell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Stone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Stone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gez Barber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
