A collision led to Harchester United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Den Vaughn hit a great ball. Syd Knott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Crossley in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Roger Crossley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T H F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Crossley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Syd Knott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dion Kerridge in the 20th minute of the match. Syd Knott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Syd Knott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ged Pope went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ged Pope in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Syd Knott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ged Pope struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Syd Knott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T H F C. In the 35th minute Roger Crossley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Knott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ged Pope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Syd Knott was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Darren Vaughan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darren Vaughan in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Stone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Harchester United's Rhys Philpott got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

T H F C made a substitution. Matty Tinker replaced Ged Pope. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matty Tinker was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Garth Wardell put in a rough tackle. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for T H F C! T H F C:s Ivan Stone showed great skill when he stopped Darren Vaughan:s penalty. Dion Kerridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Harchester United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marcus Soares hit a great ball. Syd Knott made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Matty Tinker sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Matty Tinker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Syd Knott. That made the score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. Syd Knott was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matty Tinker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Marcus Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T H F C the free kick. In the 77th minute, T H F C's Dion Kerridge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Syd Knott. Syd Knott yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Matty Tinker got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Syd Knott handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Dion Kerridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Marcus Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Stone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Davenport charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Davenport the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Philip Davenport hit a great ball. When the match was over T H F C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Harchester United throughout the match.
