In the 6th minute, Dimitris Koronis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Idrotoglou in the 7th minute of play forced ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Panos Drambas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ERGOTELIS's Panos Drambas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Idrotoglou in the 9th minute of play. When Tabachana F.C.'s Vassilis Tournas in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vassilis Tournas charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Tournas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Tabachana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vassilis Tournas. In the 15th minute, Tasos Kontosoros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akis Vasilakopoulos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pavlos Kastanopoulos. Akis Vasilakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkaios Mavrofidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Odysseas Portoulidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panos Drambas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Akis Vasilakopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Tabachana F.C.'s Efthimis Stamatiadis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efthimis Stamatiadis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tabachana F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efthimis Stamatiadis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Efthimis Stamatiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Panos Drambas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Pavlos Kastanopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Alkaios Mavrofidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Akis Vasilakopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 66 minutes into the game, Tabachana F.C.'s Vassilis Tournas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panos Drambas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. ERGOTELIS's Panos Drambas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save ERGOTELIS from getting a goal against them. Akis Vasilakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavlos Kastanopoulos in the 74th minute of the match. Alexis Idrotoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Drambas having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Menelaos Moutafis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ERGOTELIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabachana F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when ERGOTELIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menelaos Moutafis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Alkaios Mavrofidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Vasilakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Kastanopoulos in the 90th minute of play forced Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Akis Vasilakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Menelaos Moutafis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Vasilakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabachana F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
