Dimosthenis Paspalidis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Theodosis Tassioglou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fotis Venizelos went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alexandros Panteliadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Stefanos Topoudis made a huge save. Louis Christou charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis Christou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aliverpool's Louis Christou got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Fotis Venizelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodosis Tassioglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Kyriakos in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Cyprus Eagles AFC's Dimosthenis Paspalidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 23 played minutes Dimosthenis Paspalidis rounded Aliverpool's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After a rather tough play, Cyprus Eagles AFC's Argyris Kapsalakis got a free kick in the 25th minute. Paris Psichogios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Topoudis having to interfere. When Fotis Venizelos came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Aliverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fotis Venizelos couldn't finish the play. Aliverpool's Stefanos Topoudis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Panteliadis in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimosthenis Paspalidis in the 38th minute of play forced Aliverpool's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Aliverpool's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argyris Kapsalakis. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Venizelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Kapsalakis in the 51st minute of play forced Aliverpool's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimosthenis Paspalidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute Dimosthenis Paspalidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Topoudis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Panteliadis in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute Dimosthenis Paspalidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Topoudis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefanos Topoudis came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cyprus Eagles AFC's Argyris Kapsalakis. But to his dismay, Argyris Kapsalakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Theodosis Tassioglou made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fotis Venizelos sent off a good shot on target. Stathis Mousikos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Stefanos Topoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Kapsalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Telis Ntavelis kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Telis Ntavelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Aliverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Dimosthenis Paspalidis came free, but Stefanos Topoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefanos Topoudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Kapsalakis in the 74th minute of the match. Stefanos Topoudis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Panteliadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefanos Topoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Kapsalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Aliverpool's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Kapsalakis came free, but Stefanos Topoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Nikos Kyriakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
