Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eustratios Kapetanoglou got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Iordanis Papaioannou notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MELATES F.C.'s Emanuel Enoiu. Emanuel Enoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nafiz Hafızoğlu in the 7th minute of play forced PicksBattle.com's goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefanos Topoudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Liaskovitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, PicksBattle.com's Eustratios Kapetanoglou got a free kick in the 11th minute. Stefanos Topoudis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis McAllister's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuel Enoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Errikos Nosis. Stefanos Topoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nafiz Hafızoğlu in the 23rd minute of play. When Alexis McAllister came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the MELATES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis McAllister couldn't finish the play. Iordanis Papaioannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Emanuel Enoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nafiz Hafızoğlu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefanos Topoudis saved PicksBattle.com from getting behind. The MELATES F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when MELATES F.C.'s Nafiz Hafızoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stefanos Topoudis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonidas Tseberlidis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Nousias during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PicksBattle.com's Giannis Nousias got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, PicksBattle.com's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis McAllister came free, but Stefanos Topoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giannis Nousias hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Nafiz Hafızoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Stefanos Topoudis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thanos Liaskovitis during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanos Liaskovitis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Kleanthis Ifantis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Iordanis Papaioannou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Enoiu having to interfere. Alexis McAllister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Stefanos Topoudis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexis McAllister to make the kick off. When Nasos Stratikis fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PicksBattle.com's protests and gave Nasos Stratikis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, MELATES F.C.'s Nafiz Hafızoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 56 minutes into the match, Nafiz Hafızoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stefanos Topoudis, 1-4. PicksBattle.com were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after MELATES F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustratios Kapetanoglou took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Louis Christou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emanuel Enoiu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Errikos Nosis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, MELATES F.C.'s Leonidas Tseberlidis got a free kick in the 65th minute. Emanuel Enoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustratios Kapetanoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Stefanos Topoudis came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by MELATES F.C.'s Alexis McAllister. But to his dismay, Alexis McAllister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After a rather tough play, PicksBattle.com's Alkis Braoudakis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes, MELATES F.C.'s Leonidas Tseberlidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefanos Topoudis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MELATES F.C. reached it. Eustratios Kapetanoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as MELATES F.C.'s Leonidas Tseberlidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefanos Topoudis. That made the score 1-6 after 83 minutes of play. Stefanos Topoudis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexis McAllister in the 86th minute. Alexis McAllisters short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Stefanos Topoudis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 88 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nafiz Hafızoğlu. A collision led to PicksBattle.com getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nasos Stratikis hit a great ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Nafiz Hafızoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MELATES F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nafiz Hafızoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The MELATES F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MELATES F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
