Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diogenis Priovolos kicked off to start the match. Sheriff's Dimitris Kapopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miltos Tokalidis charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miltos Tokalidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Sheriff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltos Tokalidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manos Melogiannis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoforos Tochouroglou in the 8th minute of play. Dimitris Kapopoulos took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Papagiotopoulos. Thomas Papagiotopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Omiros Kaloumenos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sheriff's Manos Melogiannis got control of the ball when Diogenis Priovolos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Lazarakis. Daniil Masourakis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Dimitris Kapopoulos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Papagiotopoulos. Thomas Papagiotopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute, Daniil Masourakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Papagiotopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th minute, Omiros Kaloumenos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Papagiotopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Anestis Kapataidakis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogenis Priovolos to maneuver through the defense. Daniil Masourakis's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Thomas Papagiotopoulos - 0-5 was put on the score board in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omiros Kaloumenos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Dimitris Kapopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd play minute Omiros Kaloumenos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Papagiotopoulos. 0-6. After 55 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Tokalidis. Omiros Kaloumenos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos made a huge save. Sheriff's Manos Melogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoforos Tochouroglou in the 60th minute of play. Thomas Papagiotopoulos was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Alkis Bletsas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alkis Bletsas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. With 64 minutes on the clock, Alekos Lazarakis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Lazarakis. Manos Melogiannis came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Christoforos Tochouroglou. But to his dismay, Christoforos Tochouroglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Thrasivoulos Moisiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Manos Melogiannis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniil Masourakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. In the 84th minute Omiros Kaloumenos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omiros Kaloumenos came free, but Thomas Papagiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
