The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolos Morikis came free, but Corrado Bosco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Kotitsas. After 12 played minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Petrou. Antonis Vrazilianos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marios Kamarinopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Simos Zacharenios. Giannis Psaridis scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marios Kamarinopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Marios Kamarinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Renieris in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Vrazilianos came free, but Marios Kamarinopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonis Vrazilianos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of tHe SOnS of rAGnar booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simos Zacharenios didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Antonis Vrazilianos came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Saronida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonis Vrazilianos couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Chrisostomos Bourdas made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Saronida FC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Psaridis. 54 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolos Morikis came free, but Corrado Bosco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Markos Renieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Kamarinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Fotis Katsaros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saronida FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in tHe SOnS of rAGnar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Antonis Vrazilianos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 73rd match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolos Morikis to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Saronida FC's Antonis Vrazilianos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marios Kamarinopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 81 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's Markos Renieris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marios Kamarinopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in tHe SOnS of rAGnar's zone, Giannis Psaridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marios Kamarinopoulos came out of the goal and Giannis Psaridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute of the match Vladimiros Karezis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marios Kamarinopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
