Kacper Naskrent's late challenge caught a RO Army V55's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kacper Naskrent helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Kacper Naskrent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Mattei hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Mastoras to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Prodan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Miltiadis Poursaitidis hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alexandros Papakrivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thanasis Vrasidas was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 14th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sokratis Symeonakis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitris Stathakos during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Helmuth Duckadam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Mattei went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Helmuth Duckadam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Mattei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, RO Army V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Patsionidis to maneuver through the defense. Mean Machine's Thanasis Vrasidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Symeonakis in the 30th minute of play. Christian Mattei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Sokratis Symeonakis got a free kick in the 47th minute.

In the 61st minute Fanis Kapernekas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Vrasidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save RO Army V55 from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute of the match RO Army V55 got a corner. Mean Machine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Prodan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alexandros Papakrivas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Hyllos Hagias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vassilis Stergioudas during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vassilis Stergioudas hit a great ball. A hard shot 78 in the game by Christian Mattei from a close distance when the talented Helmuth Duckadam managed to make a qualified save. RO Army V55's players were relieved. In the 79th minute, Hyllos Hagias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mean Machine! Mean Machine:s Thanasis Vrasidas showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Prodan:s penalty. 95 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's Sokratis Symeonakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thanasis Vrasidas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Mattei, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Mean Machine played a much better game than RO Army V55 and deserved their victory. The RO Army V55 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
