Petros Moustogiannis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thodoris Mavromatakis. After 25 played minutes, INTERISTAS's Marios Amanatidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panagiotis Kolleris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTERISTAS reached it. Trifillia.FC were furious when Thodoris Mavromatakis was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Trifillia.FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of INTERISTAS:s goal. The referee gave INTERISTAS a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marios Amanatidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trifillia.FC's Panagiotis Kolleris. 2-1. Giotis Sartzetakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Moustogiannis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Omiros Gaitanis put in a rough tackle. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

54 minutes into the match, Giotis Sartzetakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. INTERISTAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giotis Sartzetakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Panagiotis Kolleris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markos Konstantinidis in the 61st minute. Petros Moustogiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanouil Georgiadis in the 65th minute of the match. Petros Moustogiannis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Kravaris in the 68th minute of play. Panagiotis Kolleris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mastur Bateman in the 72nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Trifillia.FC's Aris Kravaris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trifillia.FC had won after a very even match.
