Marios Giasemakis made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stamatis Giotas however managed to control. Petros Moustogiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Daskalakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AFC Ajax fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when AFC Ajax's Andreas Daskalakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of AFC Ajax booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Konstantinidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, AFC Ajax's Andreas Daskalakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petros Moustogiannis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Papagiannoulis in the 16th minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Petros Moustogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Andreas Daskalakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. INTERISTAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Daskalakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Stamatis Giotas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis. Petros Moustogiannis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Menios Moschogiannis made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Mastur Bateman sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Andreas Daskalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Moustogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petros Moustogiannis came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Ajax's Andreas Daskalakis. But to his dismay, Andreas Daskalakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 32 minutes, Stamatis Giotas made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, INTERISTAS's Kuddusî Müftüoğlu got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes of play, AFC Ajax's Andreas Daskalakis made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petros Moustogiannis was left in no man's land by his defense there! INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Daskalakis in the 39th minute of play. If Fondas Papagiannoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Fondas Papagiannoulis notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis. Petros Moustogiannis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fondas Papagiannoulis in the 46th minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Petros Moustogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Daskalakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Daskalakis came free, but Petros Moustogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Ajax's Stamatis Giotas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fondas Papagiannoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petros Moustogiannis having to make a save. Fondas Papagiannoulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Moustogiannis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Mastur Bateman came free, but Menios Moschogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Andreas Daskalakis made a precise shot to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. INTERISTAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. In the 71st minute, Stamatis Giotas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petros Moustogiannis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Stamatis Giotas put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. Stamatis Giotas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petros Moustogiannis. Petros Moustogiannis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. Mastur Bateman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Ajax's Andreas Daskalakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petros Moustogiannis. That made the score 0-15 after 89 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the game, one of INTERISTAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Petros Moustogiannis, was totally fooled by AFC Ajax's Nontas Livaditis, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. AFC Ajax's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
