After a defensive mix-up in Go Ahead Eagles's zone, Alekos Kastanis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal and Alekos Kastanis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Periklis Vakalis in the 32nd minute of play forced BLACK PANTHER F.C's goalkeeper Argyris Koutetes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Christodoulou took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Argyris Koutetes. Argyris Koutetes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 39th minute of the game, Manos Christodoulou landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 39 minutes, Koulis Nikolatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BLACK PANTHER F.C and the Go Ahead Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Argyris Koutetes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Takis Chatzivrettas went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Panagiotis Bourousis made a precise shot to the right of Argyris Koutetes. BLACK PANTHER F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thanos Kosmiadis was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Alekos Kastanis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BLACK PANTHER F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alekos Kastanis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Telemakis came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes BLACK PANTHER F.C got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Kosmiadis. 57 minutes into the match, Nikos Moustos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Argyris Koutetes. BLACK PANTHER F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Moustos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Argyris Koutetes was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Takis Chatzivrettas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Takis Chatzivrettas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alekos Kastanis during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Kastanis in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Giotis Kouloucheris hit a great ball.
