Stergios Samartzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Papagrigoriou. Theofanis Marinakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionysis Papageorgopoulos in the 15th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theofanis Marinakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionysis Papageorgopoulos in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vassilis Karataidis. Sakis Touronis lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the final whistle sounded Kolopetinitsa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ΟΦΗ.
