Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nikos Kalkavouras took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Adamantios Thomaidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theofanis Marinakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savas Papageorgiou took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theofanis Marinakis. Theofanis Marinakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Savas Papageorgiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PaoK Neapoleos's Savas Papageorgiou got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PaoK Neapoleos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Nikos Kalkavouras scored to the left of an out of position Evaggelos Komaitis, making the score, 1-1. Savas Papageorgiou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theofanis Marinakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, PaoK Neapoleos's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kalkavouras came free, but Evaggelos Komaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adamantios Thomaidis in the 28th minute of play forced ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Dianellakis in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakis Dianellakis in the 35th minute of play forced ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theofanis Marinakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Savas Papageorgiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nikos Kalkavouras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaggelos Komaitis. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. PaoK Neapoleos's Adamantios Thomaidis got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theofanis Marinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Dianellakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When PaoK Neapoleos's Adamantios Thomaidis in 50 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Theofanis Marinakis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 54 played minutes PaoK Neapoleos got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Dianellakis. Theofanis Marinakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Thomaidis in the 60th minute of the match. When ΟΦΗ's Nikos Kalkavouras in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PaoK Neapoleos's goalie prevented a goal. Babbis Prokos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Babbis Prokos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Babbis Prokos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Adamantios Thomaidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theofanis Marinakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute of the match, Adamantios Thomaidis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Theofanis Marinakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adamantios Thomaidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute, Adamantios Thomaidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theofanis Marinakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Thomaidis in the 80th minute of the match. PaoK Neapoleos were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after ΟΦΗ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilias Koutsokefalakis took the corner. Adamantios Thomaidis's late challenge caught a ΟΦΗ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adamantios Thomaidis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PaoK Neapoleos's Adamantios Thomaidis got a free kick in the 87th minute. Evaggelos Komaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Kalkavouras in the 91st minute of the match. If Fanis Kokkinopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ΟΦΗ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
