Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Tino Andres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Florian Orthaus kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thomas Schmuck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Haag in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Lanzenkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Steffens to maneuver through the defense. Poli Timisoara's Thomas Knoppertz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Knoppertz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Barten. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Jan-Niclas Ebus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luis Barten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Schmuck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Roth, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Poli Timisoara booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Post didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tino Andres in the 22nd minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Thomas Schmuck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Luis Barten throw himself and got hold of the ball when Thomas Knoppertz in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Haug came free, but Luis Barten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Mario Haag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Schmuck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Arno Steffens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Niclas Ebus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Barten having to interfere. When Poli Timisoara's Thomas Knoppertz in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lanzenkirchen's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Jens-Uwe Lack had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Barten. Lanzenkirchen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Uwe Lack was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 40 minutes, Robert Balla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poli Timisoara and the Lanzenkirchen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robert Balla kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Mario Haag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Luis Barten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute of the match Poli Timisoara got a corner. Lanzenkirchen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrik Andres ran over to the corner to take the kick. Poli Timisoara's Patrik Andres was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luis Barten in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Knoppertz to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Knoppertz came free, but Luis Barten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tino Andres in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Schmuck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jens-Uwe Lack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Mario Haag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanzenkirchen and the Poli Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Haag hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thomas Knoppertz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Barten having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Poli Timisoara's Thomas Knoppertz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Barten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dominic Haug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Barten having to interfere. Tino Andres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Thomas Schmuck made a huge save. Mathias Schlacher kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Luis Barten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Andres, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Knoppertz in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Barten saved Lanzenkirchen from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, Lanzenkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tino Andres to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lanzenkirchen getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Tino Andres hit a great ball. If Robert Balla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Thomas Knoppertz made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lanzenkirchen's Luis Barten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tino Andres struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Thomas Schmuck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanzenkirchen. Thomas Knoppertz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luis Barten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poli Timisoara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
