In the 11th minute, Stefan Geling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christopher Benscheider was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eike Schmidt in the 20th minute of play forced ＫÎＬＬÎＫ's goalkeeper Frederic Gschwendtner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamza Güneş's late challenge caught a Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamza Güneş helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes ＫÎＬＬÎＫ got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Güneş. In the 35th minute Jonas Rein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Benscheider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nils Mört fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's protests and gave Nils Mört a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Sc Ajax Hirtenberg got a freekick which was hit by Nils Mört. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Geling in the 40th minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper Christopher Benscheider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Rein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christopher Benscheider having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eike Schmidt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sedat Özkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
