Damian Trac scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Barten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Barten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Trac in the 18th minute of the match. Jan Haase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Dreher's late challenge caught a International Thunders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Dreher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Simon Dreher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Barten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kilian Jonen in the 25th minute. Damian Trac in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luis Barten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Björn Hainl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Barten having to interfere. Luis Barten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Trac's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Luis Barten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Zielinski. In the 39th minute, Kilian Jonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Barten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Trac, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
International Thunders made a substitution. Luca Divis replaced Tim Köppen. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tino Andres to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Barten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Zielinski went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lanzenkirchen's Luis Barten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Dohr in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Roth didn't get a good kick on the ball. International Thunders's Jan Haase got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Barten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Trac, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Luis Barten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Trac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Björn Hainl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Barten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Björn Hainl notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Lanzenkirchen's Luis Barten. Luis Barten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Simon Dreher. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Trac in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Barten saved Lanzenkirchen from getting behind. Luis Barten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Trac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, International Thunders's Björn Hainl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Barten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Jan Haase made a precise shot to the right of Luis Barten. Lanzenkirchen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. International Thunders had played much better football throughout.
