In the 6th minute, Christian Demmel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Schlagbauer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Johann Hesse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Schlagbauer. SK Fenerbahce Wien's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johann Hesse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cedric Groeters kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Marcel Schlagbauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Schilder, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Marcel Schlagbauer came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by BiBa's Christian Demmel. But to his dismay, Christian Demmel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Marcel Schlagbauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Hesse in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of BiBa booed when SK Fenerbahce Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Kahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johann Hesse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marcel Schlagbauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Heiko Yuschni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Hesse came free, but Marcel Schlagbauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, BiBa's Christian Demmel made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Schlagbauer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, BiBa's Johann Hesse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Schlagbauer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Demmel to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Christian Demmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Schlagbauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Heiko Yuschni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BiBa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heiko Yuschni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Demmel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Schlagbauer came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Demmel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 57th minute. If Andre-Yann Latocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johann Hesse in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel Schlagbauer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Marcel Schlagbauer got control of the ball when Johann Hesse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helmar Hörbeld hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Johann Hesses short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Marcel Schlagbauer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalkeeper Marcel Schlagbauer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heiko Yuschni. After having played for 81 minutes, Heiko Yuschni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BiBa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heiko Yuschni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Max Metzler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Fenerbahce Wien's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BiBa the free kick. Marcel Schlagbauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johann Hesse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Demmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcel Schlagbauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre-Yann Latocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BiBa's Johann Hesse got a free kick in the 91st minute. SK Fenerbahce Wien's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Johann Hesse scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Schlagbauer, making the score, 0-8. When the match was over BiBa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SK Fenerbahce Wien throughout the match.
