Thomas Sørensen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavel Kenov's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Pavel Kenov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thomas Sørensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Kenov in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Sørensen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the game, Lyubomir Vladikov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Thomas Sørensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 minutes into the match, Pavel Kenov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Sørensen. FC Grivata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Kenov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Pavel Kenov took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Sørensen. Thomas Sørensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Thomas Sørensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Kenov in the 19th minute of play. Rumen Oblakov hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Andon Túrpomanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yulian Tomov in the 24th minute. If Pavel Kenov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Sørensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Kenov in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Yulian Tomov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Grivata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Temida Sf the free kick. After 32 played minutes FC Grivata got a freekick which was hit by Yulian Tomov. Thomas Sørensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyubomir Vladikov in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, FC Grivata's Viden Yashmakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andon Túrpomanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lyubomir Vladikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Grivata's zone, Lyubomir Vladikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Sørensen came out of the goal and Lyubomir Vladikov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lyuben Dimiev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Temida Sf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vesko Balashev to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Temida Sf's Ancho Vlaev got a free kick in the 57th minute. Arhangel Vergov charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arhangel Vergov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Grivata getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Arhangel Vergov hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the game Antonio Dino made a throw-in which Preben Elkjær played forward. In the 66th minute of the match Vesko Balashev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Sørensen skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Iskren Drazhev sped through FC Grivata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Sørensen. When Temida Sf's Iskren Drazhev in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Grivata's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Vute Sapundzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Dino was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 84 minutes into the match, FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iskren Drazhev. When Iskren Drazhev came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Temida Sf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iskren Drazhev couldn't finish the play. Temida Sf made a substitution. Tzoko Ilarionov replaced Vesko Balashev. Iskren Drazhev hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Iskren Drazhev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Sørensen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Temida Sf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iskren Drazhev to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Temida Sf had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
