If Paun Atkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stiliyan Tachkov during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Бенковски Тетевен booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stiliyan Tachkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qin Liang Li hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Venko Petrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, FC Bansko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venko Petrov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Бенковски Тетевен getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pantaley Vretenarov hit a great ball. Vaklin Kortov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencho Mangezov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Бенковски Тетевен's zone, Paun Atkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaklin Kortov came out of the goal and Paun Atkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Di Canio in the 34th minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dragolyub Búrdarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, FC Bansko's Paun Atkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vaklin Kortov. Vaklin Kortov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Paolo Di Canio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Vaklin Kortov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paun Atkov in the 56th minute of play. Vaklin Kortov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venko Petrov's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Paun Atkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaklin Kortov having to interfere. Qin Liang Li kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Venko Petrov came free, but Vaklin Kortov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Venko Petrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Vaklin Kortov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paun Atkov during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Paun Atkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Di Canio got free with Dragolyub Búrdarov in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paun Atkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaklin Kortov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paun Atkov ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Venko Petrov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vaklin Kortov. Бенковски Тетевен's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venko Petrov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 82 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dragolyub Búrdarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Di Canio. Vaklin Kortov came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bansko's Venko Petrov. But to his dismay, Venko Petrov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Vasko Shipkovenski hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Bansko's Dragolyub Búrdarov got control of the ball when Stoyne Stoyanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Paun Atkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaklin Kortov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Di Canio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Bansko had played much better football throughout.
