Dragolyub Búrdarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radul Matzov in the 10th minute of the match. Anton Lalchev stood somewhat misplaced when Venko Petrov came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 13 minute. FC Bansko's Dragolyub Búrdarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuzman Leyarski in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Bansko's goal looked a bit too open when Rusi Hetemov came free, but Dragolyub Búrdarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venko Petrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rusi Hetemov in the 31st minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dragolyub Búrdarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MANCHESTER UNITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venko Petrov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of MANCHESTER UNITED booed when FC Bansko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venko Petrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bratan Rogev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paun Atkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qin Liang Li in the 62nd minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED's goalkeeper Anton Lalchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MANCHESTER UNITED's Anton Lalchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paun Atkov in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Venko Petrov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Anton Lalchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, FC Bansko's Slavcho Peychinov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Slavcho Peychinov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Bansko protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Slavcho Peychinov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a little luck, FC Bansko's Dragolyub Búrdarov got control of the ball when Gerasim Yankulov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anton Lalchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rusi Hetemov got free with Dragolyub Búrdarov in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in MANCHESTER UNITED's zone, Paun Atkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Lalchev came out of the goal and Paun Atkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragolyub Búrdarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denimir Slabakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to FC Bansko getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Stanislav Korunov hit a great ball.
