In the 14th minute, Paolo Di Canio had to leave the field with a concussion. Paun Ginov charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paun Ginov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Бенковски Тетевен's Dobromir Chachulov was substituted for Paolo Di Canio. In the 15th minute, Paun Ginov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Rusi Hetemov in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vaklin Kortov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Kuzman Leyarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaklin Kortov having to interfere. In the 31st minute Kuzman Leyarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaklin Kortov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vihren Shestakov's late challenge caught a MANCHESTER UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vihren Shestakov helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Бенковски Тетевен got a freekick which was hit by Vihren Shestakov. Kuzman Leyarski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Vaklin Kortov was a little too slow when Rusi Hetemov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-2. Anton Lalchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tihomir Nachevski in the 41st minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 43rd minute, but Vaklin Kortov got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Бенковски Тетевен hanging dry this time. MANCHESTER UNITED were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Бенковски Тетевен's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kuzman Leyarski took the corner. The corner led MANCHESTER UNITED's Kuzman Leyarski to fire away a dangerous shot which Vaklin Kortov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Chachulov in the 48th minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED's goalkeeper Anton Lalchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobromir Chachulov in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Lalchev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kuzman Leyarski made the kick off in the second half. Anton Lalchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Chachulov in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 played minutes MANCHESTER UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Gerasim Yankulov. A hard shot by Dennis Bergkamp from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Anton Lalchev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dobromir Chachulov kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Kuzman Leyarski made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Бенковски Тетевен's Vaklin Kortov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vaklin Kortov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Hetemov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuzman Leyarski struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vaklin Kortov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANCHESTER UNITED. Vaklin Kortov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuzman Leyarski's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Бенковски Тетевен's Vaklin Kortov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusi Hetemov in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rusi Hetemov in the 80th minute of play forced Бенковски Тетевен's goalkeeper Vaklin Kortov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Бенковски Тетевен's Dennis Bergkamp got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuzman Leyarski in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaklin Kortov saved Бенковски Тетевен from getting behind. In the 91st match minute, MANCHESTER UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasim Yankulov to maneuver through the defense. MANCHESTER UNITED were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Бенковски Тетевен for a fine match.
