Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tzanko Papukchiev kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tzanko Papukchiev in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yanko Milakiev saved The Institute from getting behind. Cup2's Tzanko Papukchiev got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tzanko Papukchiev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Yanko Milakiev made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Cup2's Trayan Kavalov got a free kick in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tzanko Papukchiev in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yanko Milakiev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Spiro Mazakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Institute and the Cup2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Iskren Nikolchov fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cup2's protests and gave Iskren Nikolchov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Institute booed when Cup2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iskren Nikolchov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Stoimen Glavchev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Michael Hjeltman skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Cup2's Trayan Kavalov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yanko Milakiev. Yanko Milakiev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Cup2 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dimcho Belishki hit a great ball. Aleko Merdzhanov struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Yanko Milakiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cup2. In the 38th minute, Nedyalko Dobrilov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Tzanko Papukchiev sped through The Institute's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yanko Milakiev. After a defensive mix-up in The Institute's zone, Trayan Kavalov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal and Trayan Kavalov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tzanko Papukchiev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yanko Milakiev. That made the score 3-1 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stoimen Glavchev to make the kick off. After 65 played minutes The Institute got a freekick which was hit by Karamfil Bodurov. 68 minutes into the game, Martin Ødegaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cup2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Institute the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Cup2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ødegaard to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Rusi Zabunov put in a rough tackle. Yanko Milakiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Cup2's Tzanko Papukchiev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yanko Milakiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After a defensive mix-up in The Institute's zone, Valeri Hadzhisotirov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal and Valeri Hadzhisotirov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the match, The Institute's goal looked a bit too open when Tzanko Papukchiev came free, but Yanko Milakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cup2 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
