Jere Noronen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porvoon Futura. After 36 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Daddy Seppo. 41 minutes into the game, Valentin Uusiniemi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karhulan Veikot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porvoon Futura the free kick. The supporters of Porvoon Futura booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Uusiniemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Valentin Uusiniemi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karhulan Veikot fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Porvoon Futura. Eugen Iordan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jere Noronen. 3-0. Ari Alin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jukka-Pekka Helenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Alin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jere Noronen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alpo Virtanen in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Porvoon Futura getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Isko Kangasmäki hit a great ball. Ari Alin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaarlo Heliskoski in the 67th minute of play forced Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Jukka-Pekka Helenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Edvard Rantanen sped through Karhulan Veikot's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jere Noronen. When Isko Kangasmäki fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvoon Futura's protests and gave Isko Kangasmäki a yellow card for diving instead.
