Manchester United FC:s Juha Jokiranta showed great skill when he stopped Roni Vihermäki:s penalty. Juha Jokiranta came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Karhulan Veikot's Roni Vihermäki. But to his dismay, Roni Vihermäki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paavo Salmela in the 10th minute of play forced Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Jere Noronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Paavo Salmela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paavo Salmela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jere Noronen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jere Noronen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paavo Salmela in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Manchester United FC were awarded a corner. Erik Cantona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Erik Cantona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jere Noronen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jere Noronen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paavo Salmela in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Veli Siivonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jere Noronen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Kustaa Virtanen got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ari Alin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Juha Jokiranta made a huge save. If Paavo Salmela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaarle Tukio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's Ari Alin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juha Jokiranta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Paavo Salmela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paavo Salmela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Ari Alin made the kick off in the second half. Paavo Salmela took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jere Noronen. Jere Noronen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Veli Siivonen hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Jere Noronen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paavo Salmela. In the 63rd match minute, Karhulan Veikot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaarle Tukio to maneuver through the defense. If Paavo Salmela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paavo Salmela might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jere Noronen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paavo Salmela ran back to his position shaking his head. Paavo Salmela took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jere Noronen. Jere Noronen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Rasmus Viljanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jere Noronen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-4 became the score in the 76th minute when Paavo Salmela elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arttu Piiroinen kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Rasmus Viljanen notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Karhulan Veikot's Jere Noronen. Jere Noronen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manchester United FC's Paavo Salmela came free and shot a quick shot against goal 92 minutes in the game, fortunately Jere Noronen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Manchester United FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
