Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ari Alin got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ari Alin in the 5th minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Miska Känsäkangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Orvo Meltoranta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galand FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orvo Meltoranta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes, Roni Vihermäki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karhulan Veikot and the Galand FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Roni Vihermäki hit a great ball. If Ari Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hemminki Kuuttinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ari Alin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miska Känsäkangas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Reijo Mattila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jere Noronen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ari Alin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karhulan Veikot's supporters rose to their feet, but Ari Alin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miska Känsäkangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Galand FC defense, Reijo Ilola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miska Känsäkangas. The Galand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miska Känsäkangas should have stopped the shot. Ari Alin might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miska Känsäkangas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ari Alin ran back to his position shaking his head. Miska Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Alin, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ari Alin got free with Miska Känsäkangas in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Orvo Meltoranta made the kick off in the second half. When Karhulan Veikot's Ari Alin in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galand FC's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Alin came free, but Miska Känsäkangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jere Noronen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reijo Mattila in the 61st minute of play. Miska Känsäkangas came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Karhulan Veikot's Ari Alin. But to his dismay, Ari Alin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Orvo Meltoranta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match, Reijo Mattila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jere Noronen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karhulan Veikot's Jere Noronen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reijo Mattila in the 77th minute of play. Rasmus Poikolainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miska Känsäkangas having to interfere. Jere Noronen made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Orvo Meltoranta sent off a good shot on target. Reijo Ilola charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reijo Ilola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Reijo Ilola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miska Känsäkangas came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Karhulan Veikot's Ari Alin. But to his dismay, Ari Alin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jarmo Niemi charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarmo Niemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karhulan Veikot booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarmo Niemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roni Vihermäki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miska Känsäkangas. Galand FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Arttu Piiroinen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karhulan Veikot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arttu Piiroinen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Galand FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Karhulan Veikot.
