But to his dismay, Paavo Salmela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Manchester United FC's Erik Cantona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santeri Peltola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Erik Cantona put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Santeri Peltola. 32 minutes into the game, Manchester United FC's Erik Cantona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santeri Peltola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. If Paavo Salmela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santeri Peltola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirkka Rautee in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Paavo Salmela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Santeri Peltola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute Paavo Salmela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santeri Peltola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santeri Peltola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eetu Mikkonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pirkka Rautee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santeri Peltola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Paavo Salmela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santeri Peltola. Paavo Salmela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Galand FC's Santeri Peltola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Paavo Salmela made a precise shot to the right of Santeri Peltola. Galand FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Santeri Peltola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Paavo Salmela who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Santeri Peltola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paavo Salmela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Santeri Peltola made a huge save. The Manchester United FC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Manchester United FC's Erik Cantona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-15 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
