Matthew Jastrzembowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandor Borchert, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaspar Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Luka Reich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hamburg Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 17 minutes Hamburg Fighters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Oppenheim who took care of the corner kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borussia Ostermoordorf fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Aage Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Reich in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Hamburg Fighters were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kaspar Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to interfere. In the 57th minute Luka Reich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aage Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaspar Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Matthew Jastrzembowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Beilmann in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute Luka Reich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aage Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Rehm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to interfere. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaspar Berger in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Aage Weiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fritz Mittrenga. If Kaspar Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaspar Berger in the 86th minute of play. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Achim Schuchter got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Holder Fohler fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamburg Fighters's protests and gave Holder Fohler a yellow card for diving instead. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Aage Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burkhard Niebler in the 93rd minute of play.
